If we cancel the activity due to bad weather, a port closure by the Harbor Master or for safety reasons, you choose between a new date or a full refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For your safety, we may change the dive site, the order of the dives or the boat. These changes do not entitle you to a refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before the activity you must fill out the medical questionnaire and sign the liability release. Activities for certified divers require a valid certification (PADI, SSI or other agency card or number).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If on the day you don\u2019t meet the requirements, or the instructor decides it isn\u2019t safe for you to dive, the activity doesn\u2019t take place and counts as a cancellation less than 7 days before. For example, if you don\u2019t bring your certification or a required medical clearance, or if you have been drinking alcohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Illness:<\/strong> if you are unable to carry out your activity due to illness and present a medical certificate, we will refund 100 %%. Without a medical certificate, the conditions of point 1 apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you arrive late or aren\u2019t at the pickup point at the agreed time and the group has already left, it counts as a no-show. Transportation costs are non-refundable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bull sharks, whale sharks, turtles and all other marine life are wild animals, so we can\u2019t guarantee sightings. Not seeing them does not entitle you to a refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If for any of the reasons above you don\u2019t complete a course or package, we refund the difference between what you paid and the regular price of the activities you did complete. PADI digital materials (eLearning) and certification fees already issued are non-refundable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some excursions (whale shark, fishing, Isla Mujeres, Tulum) are run by a partner operator. This same policy applies unless the activity page says otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Refunds are made to the same payment method used for the booking, within a maximum of 10 business days. Your bank may take a few more days to show it. Prices are in US dollars (USD); we don\u2019t cover exchange rate differences or bank fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Proveedora N\u00e1utica Dive-X, S.A. de C.V. holds valid civil liability insurance. Even so, we recommend taking out travel insurance<\/strong> and dive insurance<\/strong> (for example, DAN) before doing these activities.
