Bull Sharks come to Playa del Carmen<\/a> from end of November to early March season to the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean, giving us divers the opportunity to interact with these magnificent SHARKS.<\/p>\nPlaya del Carmen becomes an extra special place from the first days of December to the middle of March as this region welcomes hundreds of female bull sharks who visit to have their babies.<\/p>\n
You will meet these majestic creatures on the seafloor during an unforgettable 80 Ft (25m) deep static dive. Holding a rope at the bottom, you will have front row seats while the bull sharks gracefully fly over the sand.<\/p>\n
Bull sharks are not shy so be prepared to encounter these elegant creatures up close and personal as they swim casually by the divers.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s an exhilarating adventure that will get your adrenaline pumping, but there\u2019s nothing to be afraid of! Being pregnant females, the sharks you\u2019ll see are gentle and simply going about life in their natural environment. Plus our operators take all the measures to keep you and the sharks safe \u2013 there has never been a single incident diving with bull sharks across the whole Riviera Maya.<\/p>\n
After your bull shark dive you will have another dive in a coral reef off Playa del Carmen full of tropical fish and if you\u2019re lucky, turtles too!<\/p>\n

Help us protect our beautiful oceans by avoiding sunblock before swimming, unless it’s biodegradable \u2013 the chemicals hurt the reefs and cause bleaching.<\/p>\n
Duration<\/strong><\/p>\nThe bull shark dive lasts about 5 hours, pick yp at around 8am, back at around 1pm. The duration can changes depending on weather or group conditions.<\/p>\n
