Get up close with bull sharks in Playa del Carmen
Season: from late November to early March.
Get a close look at one of the most impressive predators in the Mexican Caribbean: the bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas). During the dive, a professional feeder uses controlled attraction techniques to bring the sharks closer, while a safety diver watches over the group’s safety.
We descend to about 25 m (80 ft), with 30 minutes of bottom time and a mandatory safety stop. Before the dive we give a briefing on the rules and best practices for diving with sharks.
Bring a full wetsuit in dark colors and avoid bright or flashy colors.

Requirements
- PADI Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent, and fully independent underwater
- Fill out and sign the medical questionnaire and liability release
- Follow the team’s instructions and safety protocols at all times
Recommendation: no flying for 18 hours after diving.
