Our wrecks
Puerto Morelos — C-56 Juan Escutia
- Depth: 27–30 m / approx. 90–100 ft.
- Dive type: wreck exploration and deep diving.
- Recommended level: Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent.
- Description: a former Mexican Navy ship, sunk in 2000 to create an artificial reef. Today it’s home to a wide variety of marine life, including corals, groupers and barracudas. Ideal for divers experienced in deep diving.
Playa del Carmen — Mama Viña
- Depth: 27–30 m / approx. 90–100 ft.
- Dive type: wreck exploration and deep diving.
- Recommended level: Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent.
- Description: a former shrimp boat sunk in 1995 to create an artificial reef. Over the years it has become a refuge for sponges, tropical fish and barracudas, and in season you may spot eagle rays. Currents can vary, so previous experience in these conditions is recommended.
Cozumel — C-53 Felipe Xicoténcatl
- Depth: 12–25 m / 40–80 ft approx., depending on the area.
- Dive type: wreck exploration and, with the right training, controlled penetration.
- Recommended level: depending on the dive profile and your certification.
- Description: a former Mexican Navy minesweeper sunk in 2000. It rests on a sandy bottom and is home to moray eels, lobsters, groupers and schools of tropical fish. You can explore the outside of the ship; going inside requires specific training, planning and proper equipment.

Requirements
- Valid dive certification, suitable for the dive depth.
- Previous experience suited to the site conditions.
- Fill out and sign the medical questionnaire and liability release.
Recommendation: no flying for 18 hours after your last dive.
